I was thinking about this today. What do you see as the optimal way to organize and store your supplements and nootropics? I've been using 6 sencha mint cases. They fit nicely in an emptied out 6''x 12'' day planner. I prep them once per week. While I like this, I would gladly upgrade if someone has a better idea. I'd like to start breaking my intervals into 3x day. Also, does anyone buy desicant packets? Where do you get them? I've priced them, but havent ordered yet. Posted Image

I use a "pill case" commonly sold in drug stores. It is split into 4 compartments per day, and has 7 days worth. It works pretty well, but is not hermetically sealed. Most of my supplements seem to survive a week unscathed (as far as I can tell by looking at them) but a couple of them will change appearance, probably from taking on water. It's not ideal. Maintaining a low humidity environment would help I suppose. Maybe I could keep it in a Tupperware container with a couple desiccant packs, but then that's an added level of hassle for getting things out of it.

I recently switched from a 7 day x 4 compartment pill case to little ziploc bags called "The Pill Bag", bought from Vitamin Shoppe. Walgreens stocks something similar from EZ Dose. The main reason was that in the humidity of summer I really wanted something with an airtight seal. The other advantage is more customizable dosing: if I take stuff 5x day I can just use 5 bags (held together with a bulldog clip), rather than trying to cram two doses into a single compartment. The disadvantage is that it's more fiddly to fill bags than a pill case, but I only do it once a week.

I also bought dessicant packets from SilicalGelPackets: $10 for 20 3/4g packets and a throwaway humidity-indicator card. I bought cotton-sleeved ones, which you can supposedly heat up in a low oven to drive off absorbed moisture: haven't tried it yet, but the Tyvek-sleeved ones would almost certainly fair worse :) I don't put the dessicant packets in the ziploc bags, but use them in some supplement bottles which come without. For example, my fish oil capsules were starting to stick together, but with a dessicant packet in there they shake out separately every time.

i fill up a pill box which has 9 or so slots, then every day from that i fill a 'pill bag' as mentioned above... pill bag is the way to go. if you carry a case in your pocket it will jingle annoyingly.
