I am a spokesperson
. I've talked about my experiences with losing weight and following practicing calorie restriction while raising three children. I've also talked about why I've chosen to be a cryonicist and do advocacy such as writing. I've done a little bit of advocacy for breastfeeding as well. Its fun--I've only done T.V. 4 times, been in 3 documentaries-none that have been released in theaters though, and I've done over 20 radio interviews and several written articles.
I can help with giving the kind of questions I've gotten, but also it would be fun to answer people's questions as well. Really, the hardest questions I've gotten were on a comedy morning radio show where the interviewer really had a poor opinion of cryonics and wanted to make fun of it. In a situation like that you just have to be polite and get in your good sound bites when you can.
It is important to have sound bytes--so when answering here, try to answer as if you were doing a "twitter"
On TV, and in radio interviews people tune out long answers. Being concise is important when writing as well, but you can at least do few sentences then
Anyone can be a spokesperson, just read up on the history of the subject you will be giving the interview on and look at what the current issues are beforehand--all it takes is enthusiasm and passion for your subject
