This is the topic to indicate if you are in for this weeks 30 for $30 with a deadline of the following friday, August 14th. 30 or more of us pledge $30 or more dollars here. If the 30 people sign on by friday then we all give the $30 apeice. This is all matched, twice, (was twice, now three times!) once by imminst, and once by Peter Thiel, and now also once by Jean David. You cant go wrong, this is your life and lipofuscin is a direct cause of your death.

This is for the bigger fund raiser for the laser ablation of lipofuscin.

Try some things like this of your own in, facebook, or myspace or whatever. Make sure you get in on everything you can. The face book widgets, comment on the blogs about this etc..


Edit in: If at 11:59pm cst time on friday August 14th we have at least 30 people signed on here, then we are asking that everybody then get their $30.00 or more donation in with in the following 24 hours. After the deadline has passed I will pm everybody that has helped make this happen so we can all make the donation.

Let me see. If we get 30 people to donate $30 in the next week we are talking $900, Imminst would match with $900, Thiel would match with $900, for a total of $2,700. Needless to say, that would be a nice chunk of change for the research.

Ok, let us do the math so everyone knows how much of an incredible deal this is, and how much we should thank jean david.

30 people pledge to donate $30 = $900
Jean David matches with $900 (total of $1,800)
Imminst matches the $1,800 (total of $3,600)
Peter Thiel matches another $1,800 for a GRAND TOTAL of $5,400 (a whopping 33% of the goal)

I'm giving $60 to this one, and we can probably get more than 30 people.

People that can only donate maybe, $1.00 or $5.00 are encouraged to do that too, donate it directly to the research grant. Please do everybody. The showing of numbers of how many people donated will help a lot too. I mean, right now Im seeing circles of 30 life extensionists here, and 10 here, and 40 there etc.. working on stuff, if we end up with say, 75 contributors then that will show us another circle, and it will help draw more in. There are hundreds and hundreds more ready now, and the more of us they see doing stuff, the more apt they will be to come out of the wood work. And there are tipping points, once you reach just so many people, then people start to flood out of the wood work. The amount of people that give to this fund can help near those points.

To make this work unfortunately we cant give for others. Of course, that is very nice though and your donations wont go unnoticed. This is 30 or more, for $30 or more. Im giving $60 to this 30 for 30 or more.

Besides money, part of the point is to give more people more good opportunity to get involved.

Remember all, even if this 30 for 30 is completely fulfilled, we will still have a couple thousand to go to reach the full 8k matcher, so anything you can give in addition to this could be a life saver for this project.

Yes, we can add you to the list since you just very recently (in the last 24 hours) donated to the research grant. Otherwise, we can't let people jump in retroactively.

Yes, if you have the money to donate please consider donating in the name of a friend or for a friend who does not have a credit card or the ability to make an electronic transaction.

Please let us know the name of the person you would like to go on the list.

The official plan was to have everyone pledge and then make their donation Friday night or on Saturday, after we reach the 30 person (or more) goal. However, it is fine if you send your donation in early. Just let me know if you have done so and we will put a "pd" next to your name on the list.
