Hi to all,

Ive been wondering for a while something while i take my supplements. I take the following altogether divided through the day:

Piracetam, Picamilon, Vinpocetine, CDP-choline, L-Theanine.

So i tought, if those supplements are 99.9 % pure then why are they all white powder? Being quite different on the chemical structure, im sure no one ever seen a supplement that differ from this rule.

Isnt it odd tough that different products all end up to be perfect white powder?

Anyway i tought ill post it here maybe someone knows...

Most organic chemicals don't have a strong absorption band in the visible, so they are colorless. When they are in the form of small crystals, they look white. A large single crystal would be colorless and clear, typically. Usually the way you get color in an organic molecule is by having a long series of alternating single and double bonds. This is sometimes called a conjugated system. Curcumin contains a long conjugated system in one of its electronic forms; it's highly colored.

Pills also have all kinds of "filler material", so it's not just the active chemical that goes in there.

On another note, why do you take Vinpocetine with other noots like that ? Is that not too much? I found Vinpocetine way more than enough just by itself, could barely handle it.

What's the advantage of taking it with piracetam AND picamilon?

Only take 10mg per day but i never felt any difference since i added Vinpocetine. To me its just not a nootropic and i wont buy anymore of it. What kinds of effetcs did it had on you?
