What are some excellent documentaries about technology in the future or television programs? I've seen The City2057, The Body2057 and The World2057.

Thanks

3. Earth Time
4. Cosmic Time

Visions of the Future
Episodes:
1. The Intelligence Revolution
2. The Biotech Revolution
3. The Quantum Revolution

2057
Episodes:
1. The Body
2. The City
3. The World

TED Talks

Google Tech Talk

Living Forever: The Longevity Revolution

Exploring Life Extension (Imminst Documentary)

Building Gods, Documentary

History Channels, "That's Impossible"

Future by Design (2006)

Zeitgeist: Addendum - for fun

Robosapiens

Many more can be found on amazon.com, there also dozens of ones on space which I have not listed

Typical Kaku. A mix of brilliant insight and monumental stupidity. The man simply cannot seem to wrap his brain around the concept that the human body is as subject to modification as a car or that society evolves along side the technology we create. He suffers from the common futurologists problem of it'll be just like today, only different, and never takes into consideration the societal effects of technological innovations. Technology doesn't exist in a vacuum and never has, but people like Kaku always talk as if it does. As a physicist, he's brilliant, but as a futurologist, he suffers from serious shortsightedness.
