I recently ordered Natrol DHEA 25 mg x 180 and Natrol time release melatonin 3 mg x 100 with vitamin B6(10 mg) from vitasunn.co.uk. Products were packed in a vacuum packed plastic bag.

I tested out DHEA by crushing the tablet and pouring it under my tongue, but I discovered that the powder was almost totally tasteless. Dhea should taste bitter, and the tablet did not taste bitter but only to a smallest degree.

Melatonin also tasted different from the 2 mg time release melatonin (Circadin) which is sold in pharmacy. It tastes little bitter, maybe due to vit B6, but the taste of melatoning is totally absent! Circadin, even though it is "less potent" tastes very strongly melatonin. Melatonin's taste is very noticeable, yet totally absent from Natrol 3 mg product.

First thing that comes to my mind is that these products does not contain what they are promised to contain, or they do but only for some trace amounts.

Has anybody faced same situation with Natrol's products?
