After having heard many good things about it, I just tried some 5 hr energy on an empty stomach.

It worked fine for a few hrs (<5 I think), but now I'm feeling ill. I imagine it's because the effect wore off. Anybody else had the same experience ?

I would always just feel tired later, it was always almost exactly 5 hours later too. Just tired though, not with a headache and things like I would get from soda or coffee. The only noot Ive tried so far is DMAE. I only seem to be able to get mild effects from it though and only under certain conditions that I havent quite put my finger on yet. I think its when Im not digesting food and only when Im not already feeling drowsy.

Well, I'm having mild nausea. 5 hr energy may not agree with me.

Have you eaten? Maybe what it has done is sped up your metabolism and burned out the amount of energy you usually have in your system at this time leaving you feel nausea.

Very possible, likely even.

I skipped lunch, which I do every so often without problems.
Plus I feel better after forcing myself to have some dinner.
