Hello

I have a lot of reading to do in the next 3-4 months and a lot of revision to do (along with creative thinking) and to help aid me in this I've just purchased some Alpha GPC, I will very soon be purchasing some Aniracetam and Oxiracetam from smart powders as I've found mike to be very helpful when answering questions. I'm considering getting some Pramiracetam as well to try at some point.

I have about 750g of Piracetam kicking about and choline bitratrate from when I was experimenting with piracetam earlier this year.

My question is. Would it be possible for me to measure out a dose of piracetam and a appropriate amount of alpha gpc (or whats left of the choline bitratrate) in the morning, put it into a 750 ml drinks bottle and take a certain measured gulp/quantity of fluid throughout the day (or if the ratio is correct, constantly sip on the mixture).

From my reading around February time, I don't remember piracetam decomposing in water, however I'm not sure about alpha gpc or the choline bitratrate.

That brings me onto another question. I remember reading Oxiracetam and I think pramiracetam should be cycled or reserved for special ocassions (with anircetam being used in conjunction with or instead of piracetam). If that is the case, could I potentially add either of those into the liquid mixture? Would adding something like green tea (cold) to help with the flavour result in any issues with uptake. I understand that aniracetam and pramiracetam is fat soluble, so that would potentially produce issues I would think.

My last question is about discontinuing. I sometimes have to go away for a weekend here and there and the ocassional week when I cannot take any nootropics. I know when these are in advance, so is there an easing off protocal I can use, because when I took piracetam in the past, if I stopped supplementation for a few days, I felt like a zombie/vegetable. This would be quite bad for some of the periods when I am away.

I have other questions regarding dosage and attack dose, but I'm sure I can find the answer to those with a search.

edited to add- I also have some ALCAR which I wanted to start using, would that in the mixture be ok, or overboard.
Recapping, at anyone time, I would only have piracetam and/or aniracetam- a choline source- ALCAR. I would that use oxircetam or pramircetam when needed

Cheers
Ian

Apologies, I hate bumping old threads, but I hope there are people with some on this subject.

If racetams give you inconsistent results or turn on zombie-mode, just stick with ALCAR. Piracetam is going to deplete your choline levels enough as it is. ALCAR will certainly be doing something of the same nature. 500mg 3x a day should work pretty decently.

and as nasty as ALCAR tastes, out of the 3 you posted it honestly tastes the best. hardly noticeable in a glass of OJ.

In personal experience, Piracetam is super soluble in water. You should have no trouble at all putting a day's worth into 750mL of water, I imagine the same goes for the bitartrate. Just know, you will be sipping on one terrible tasting drink!

Thanks for the feedback

I'm waiting for Alpha GPC to be delivered still, however since last Friday (10 days in as of today), I have been taking 5g of piracetam and about 1/2 teaspoon of ALCAR. I have put them into a 750 ml container and taken 1/3 drinks periodically throughout the day.

I have since added some vitamin b12.
Taste isn't too bad using for example, ribena.

My issue with putting them all into water wasn't the solubility of them, but if they would decompose in water.

For a nexample (not equated to nootropics), creatine decomposes to creatinine after 9 hours in water (not all of it, and that % change isn't massive, but it's detectable).
