I got my order of Galantamine today and took half of an 8 mg capsule 4 hours ago.  About two hours ago I started noticing that my eyes were itching.

I'm not saying that I believe the Galantamine directly caused it.  Here are some other factors:

I was outside at a park (pollen maybe?) where there were lots of trees plus I take L-Carnosine on a regular basis which could potentiate a histamine response and I take stinging nettle.  Now the nettle I thought was supposed to be good at combating allergies.  And I don't normally have allergies.  So I'm wondering:  Is this from the Galantamine?

I'll just throw in my eXperiences: I didn't have any adverse effects from galantamine (took 4-8mg doses for a week or so), - however I do get a crazy response from carnosine 250mg+, so I make sure I do not take more than 125mg/daily (1/2 cap of LEF's mito optimizer). But, yeah YMMV.

never happened to me, but galantamine tends to make me feel too awake to the point that its uncomfortable, like I cant relax. It's really cool for lucid dreaming though, I took it before a nap and had 5 lucid dreams in a row! I guess acetylcholine is involved with vision as well because it makes my vision crisper.
