To be on the team member and helper list read the guidelines below and let us know here if your joining and we will add you.
Team Member Minimum Monthly requirement.
For every month that you contribute to a section of this team (sections pinned, outside forums, digg, blogs, etc...) you get points. That means talk about the cause in outside forums, leave positive comments about the cause in related blogs or articles, digg it, add Longecity articles to facebook or digg or stumble upon, etc... Report it in the team section here and we will take care of the rest. The team captain will keep track of this and indicate that youve met the requirement by changing your name to bold in the official member and helper list periodic update topic here. It is pretty straight forward. Spread the cause and report it here. If you have questions feel free to get a hold of any of us involved with the team at any time.

Every entry and new team member inspires us all to do more for the team and across the board in general. For example, Im inspired now to do even more work to recruit more. You would manage the moderators of this teams sections, send out a monthly memo, recruit for the team, and send us a list of people that have performed the team minimum at the end of each month.
You will probably report all these things to a central topic yet to be created. For now though you would report to me.
You would also do miscellaneous other thngs as needed as you see fit.

Why haven't I seen this before? Sign me up!
You probably havent seen it because we have failed in our search for a way to create more than 1 active topics sections. Theres one topic here for example that goes over it: http://www.imminst.o...showtopic=23857
We despair over this often. I was talking about it with David Styles today today and others yesterday. David was confirming this too, saying that he stopped by Imminst along time ago but didnt see any indefinite life extension action going on here, so left.
We could actively recruit and inform and direct people to these sorts of things in a high profile chat box but that was taken out. We promote it on the front page and in the newsletter, but only a less than fair percentage of the people read those things. It helps a little, but not enough. We have also recently contemplated some sort of recruiters page, maybe, imminst.org/recruit, or imminst.org/whatsgoingon or something like that where we can link to all the action. There is the Volunteer topic, listing most of the volunteer opportunities, in the recommended section, but people dont seem to go there much. Any ideas? From what I can see, every option we could implement more falls short except for the double active topics button, but we need to find a person who can create such a thing, and everybody we've asked so far says they dont know how, or tried and couldnt find a way.
