Curious to know if anyone here has used both forms of pregnenolone, oral and sublingual, and what the difference was in effect, if any. Also curious to know if anybody could redirect me to some research articles about the difference. I've tried oral and am going to buy sublingual and I'll definitely come back and post my experience, and I'll post any research I run into.

I use it sublingually. Powder from BAC. Like many things I take, I don't notice any effect.

Generally speaking, the sub lingual pathway will almost always be superior to taking something orally, only because it deposits the molecule of interest more directly into the bloodstream.

The only times when this wouldn't be the case is when using a prodrug that requires modification in the liver (such as vyvanse) or something that would cause unwanted side effects if held in the mouth (such as capsiacin. Ha!)

before you ask questions like this, how old are you?

Pregnenolone is a hormone, precursor to testosterone and estrogen. Be careful with its use.

I'm 22 years old. I find it interesting that 7-keto-DHEA does not convert into adrogens>estrogens, I'm hoping to find out if there's some form of pregnenolone that will be able to function as pregnenolone without breaking down into the other metabolites. i understand this is not likely right now but I'm hopeful. I was wondering about the difference in metabolites as broken down in the blood when taking pregnenoline sublingually as opposed to what metabolites might appear as a result of going through the liver first. Though, it's obvious to me that either way pregnenolone will always break down into the androgens/estrogens... which gives me more reason to experiment with , say, an estrogen blocker, as to get more selective towards an androgenous effect to establish what kind of effect I'd experience personally in that case.
I haven't done much voluntary experimentation involving adrogens/estrogens. Though that's not my sole point here.
I'm an experimental kind of person, I think it's interesting in the case where you can modify things more selectively to see what kind of results are being had.

P.s. definitely agree with being careful with it

toothpaste, mouthwash etc and spicy foods can destroy the nerves that absorb the sublingual substances so be aware of what you ingest etc.

Oral has always worked the best for me over any other route besides injections.
