What would happen if you attended a showing of Mel Gibson's Jesus movie and rooted for the Romans?

As in, "Hit Jesus again! Kick him in the nuts!"

I would find it ironic if someone did pull out a gun and shot someone in defence if the name of Jesus, and I would just have to laugh, from a safe distance of course. And if he started to chase me I would simply run across some water, which happens to be frozen at the moment here in Canada.

That would be what human nature, or should i say nature, is all about. The members of the tribe of Jesus Christ will defend their leader (Good Lord).
Remember God/s are made (created) by humans and not the other way round, so the God/s depend on beeing defended by humans.

actually in smoe parts of the world not nameing any (cough) iraq and middle east peopel would pull a gun out and shoot you thats how they deal with it, it wouldnt be so ironic then. [sfty] (except they dont do it for Jesus they do it for liek alla or some other god)

I think Reason's explanation is correct try doing that in some parts of the south and mid west, or New Hampshire even and you'd probably be shot, in more enlightened cultural havens such as New York City and Boston you might get a few laughs but mostly even than people calling you weird or stupid...sad country we live in...
