it seems.

In what is being called the world's largest HIV vaccine trial ever, researchers found that people who received a series of inoculations of a prime vaccine and booster vaccine were 31 percent less likely to get HIV, compared with those on a placebo.

This is very good news indeed, although it's not very effective yet.

That article excited me as well...obviously this could be the stepping stone to even more effective treatments.

2 MILLION+ died in 2007 alone from HIV/AIDS. This is a huge step... however, the fallacy of this is, now going to make people think that unsafe sex, sharing needles and any other actions how HIV/AIDS is acquired is going to be more accepted and now persons actions will become MORE haphazard... The paradox is, let it help the infected NOW, however, if you become infected from your own ignorance, 'sorry'. Remember, with no risk to your life or health, then, LETS DO IT....
