how long it usually takes for usps stuff to show up on tracking?

i'm sure people here have ordered and tracked packages through usps just wondering if it takes a while for them to post on the tracking website, its been a while and still my number shows as nothing.

If I get the tracking number and USPS has no record of the number, it usually shows up in the system within 12-24 hours.
