The nootropics section of this forum has dwelled a grea deal on the nootropic effect of piracetam; yet, in this world visible main effects without a set of more obscure side effects rarely seems to be the case. So I opened this thread to ask either if there's any published research or if piracetam users have detected any "side" effect of piracetam on the immune system, for better or for worse? For example, is brain inflammation lowered by piracetam? What are its effects on NF-kB & TNF-alpha; on Th1 vs Th2 immunity; on the various interleukins. (maybe also, more generally, apart from the brain stuff, what does piracetam do to the rest of the body?)
