almost time for citrus to be in season again.

I'm wanting to lessen the amount of acid that hits my teeth though.

i like to take 2-3 oranges or similar, remove peel and seeds, and put in a blender with maybe a bit of zest.

i was wondering, could i add mag citrate to increase pH? or do i need mag salt with something that will react out to co2/h2o like hydroxide maybe? would mgO form mg citrate & h20? since it purportedly has a low solubility, even going through stomach acid, i assume it woudl take too long. so the reasonably availible carbonate might be the best option here?

i'm assuming fizzy=its working, but i'd prefer not to waste money first.

since i would still want it rather acidic, i'm guessing the amount i'd need would be quite small. maybe i could just use some sodium bicarb
