Dr. Stephen Pratt gave a presentation on superfoods/supernutrients. I attached the .pdf. He says what the optimal doses of certain supplements are.

For example, the daily goals from:

Vitamin D: 800-2000 iu
Vitamin C: 350mg
Folic Acid: 400mcg
Selenium: 70-100 mcg
Vitamin E: 16mg
Lycopene: 22mg
Luteiin//Zeaxanthiin: 12mg
Alpha Carotene: 2.4 mg
Beta Carotene: 6mg
Beta Cryptoxanthiin: 1mg
Gllutathiione: Daily goal from foods not known
Resveratrol: Daily goal from foods not known
Potassium: 8000 mg daily
Fiber: 50 g/d for males, slightly less for females
Omega 3 fats: read the presentation

However, he also sums it up in what he calls "The Ideal Supplement."

This might help your effort.
