I can't help it, I admit! Whenever I post something, I always go back and edit some little thing in my post. It's like a compulsive habit :(



I was wondering if anyone else here is the same way?

I only edit it when there's a real need for it, but i write as i think so often i have to go back and make my posts more concise/clearer/complete.

I read it before I hit the button. Usually I find all the mistakes that way. If it's a complicated post it helps to preview it.

Yeah, I actually used to have a terrible problem with that; like if I was writing a couple paragraphs, I would make at least 5 emendations to each one before finally submitting. Part of it was that I just could not relay my thoughts very fluently, which I am getting slightly better at, but I still do a bit of editing. Maybe just 1-2 edits per post on average now. I wrote this one without editing, except for backspacing on a couple typos. Anything else I wanted to say? Dammit, I just looked over my paragraph and made an edit.
