Hey everybody. Im new here but ive been lurking around these forums for about a month reading as much as I can. Anyway, I am a bodybuilder and am intrigued by the growth hormone boosting effects of Alpha GPC. Being a full time student, the increases in choline would double as an excellent study aid. I have been searching... at what doses would Alpha GPC be optimal for growth hormone increasing effects.
Anyway, regarding prior nootropic use, I have taken L-huperzine A. I took it for about a week and a half straight until I had to stop because I was soooooo energized to the point of shaking. When I came off of the L-huperzine A, just prior to sleep, I would have a momentary seizure. No convulsing or anything dramatic like that, but it lasted 1 second, like a BANG in my head that would disorient me for a few minutes. Unable to find much information about L-huperzine A, I figured I'd research a prescription acetylcholineestarase inhibitor: galantamine. And sure enough the warnings said not to take if prone to seizures. Please don't flame me for being an idiot.... I already know it was a dumb move knowing that I have an epileptiform (thats what the docs are calling it). Do you think Alpha GPC would cause these same problems? I would do the research myself but I have toooo many assignments to do that will keep me buckled down for the entire weekend.
Now I know perhaps nootropic supplements arent the typical, proper, or even most efficient means of growth hormone stimulation but im avoiding all of the other, illegal stuff. Besides, Alpha GPC seems to have potential to boost the two most important things in my life: School and weight training
