Hello everyone!
The reason of this topic is to get some extremely important information. This subforum is mainly for people living in UK. Therefore I think I can get more quality information about universities. I am going to study in the UK and I am in great need of advice. I have chosen to study biochemistry full time for BSc degree. I need to know:
- Are there any universities associated with ageing related research?
- What is the tolerance for international students?
- Which university would you recommend?
- Will there be problems with employment?
- What is your overall opinion about certain universities?
You can add up additional info to help me decide
By the way, I add the final list of universities from witch I must make up my mind:
9 Exeter
10 Bristol
11 York
12 King's College London
13 Bath
14 Edinburgh
15 Leicester
=15 Southampton
18 Sheffield
19 Glasgow
20 Nottingham
21 Newcastle
22 Birmingham
23 Lancaster
24 Manchester
26 Cardiff
27 Leeds
28 Liverpool
=28 East Anglia
30 Royal Holloway
31 Reading
32 Queen's Belfast
33 Aberdeen
35 Sussex
36 Queen Mary London
37 Surrey
=37 Strathclyde
39 Kent
41 Dundee
42 Keele
43 Essex
46 Aberystwyth
66 Hertfordshire
69 Sheffield Hallam
77 Birmingham City
84 Salford
87 Huddersfield
89 Kingston
99 Liverpool John Moores
100 Westminster
102 Wolverhampton
=108 East London
113 London South Bank
Those universities have biochemistry course. And that number is the place in the list of "Good universities guide 2010"
I don't know why, but Exeter university looks like a good choice for me...
P.S.
You might have noticed the first 8 are missing. That is not because they don't have the course, that is because I don't think I have chances to get there (although I am one of the best final grade students in my gymnasium...). Anyway, 5 possible choices must be made (yes, I am applying through UCAS).
P.S.S.
Thanks for helping me
