Do you think it would it be a good/bad idea to create some sort of transhumanist/life extensionist society or organization in New Zealand? Judging by what I see, the concept doesn't seem very popular around here but it could simply be because it's never really been appropriately publicized in the first place.

OK, so now I've got a small stem cell fund sort of up and running. No donations yet though. I'll wire my account to paypal sometime this week. I've placed some ads up but I still need to go and get the documents signed by the JP.

Also got some books from the library about non-profits. Looks like setting up the rules of the board trustees will be the hardest part.
