Re: 10g/d of glycine
Leon93 " that´ sounds like a LOT of glycine"
I now take 6g/d (1 tsp). From this glycine reference Josh Mitteldorf', “When glycine was added to culture media containing cells from the 97-year-old, the mitochondria in these cells became like new.” although still epigenetically old. Glycine was found to ameliorate the epigenetic changes that occur with age in mitochondria.

Interesting reference, how has taking glycine worked out for you? Do you crave methionine food like the rats did? Have you tested your epigenetic age to see if you are back to a like-new, youthful state.

I took Creatine when I was 19 and it gave me kidney pains and doctor told me to stop taking it never took it again
Some preworkouts and amino acids gave me headaches and cramps
I took Magnesium from Thorne research I forgot what type but I think it was chelated and it gave me headaches and made me sleepy or tired
Vitamin B complex from Country Life, Jarrow, both gave me bad acne and made me sleepy mid day, its supposed to give you energy but not for me, the GNC and other generic B complex actually never made me sleepy like the supposed advanced versions or methyl ones.
All I ever got from B complex before was bright yellow urine and some energy, this newer stuff made me sleepy and gave me bad cystic acne on my back and forehead.
Fish Oil made me skin greasy.
MSM powder I mixed it in water and drank it from source naturals but it gave me a headache, I was trying to take it for hair growth, I still have the tub but ill try to sprits it on my scalp instead after a shower

I think it also contained stuff like rapamycin and resveratrol, but I worry about potential heavy side-effects, especially for young people like myself. Then again, I've read resveratrol can be gotten from grapes but I havent looked up any mg/100g quantity. And even if a PDE5 inhibitor is in place - which one? HGW? Viagra? Perhaps terrestris and a few other herbs also work via the exact same mechanism?
I'm pretty confident my diet, lifestyle and added herbs/spices are all already in check.
EDIT: You know what, I decided to look up resveratrol concentrations in different foods myself: seems jackfruit contain about 1-4mg/100g and whole mulberry in particular contains up to 5mg/100g:
https://www.ncbi.nlm...les/PMC4288802/
Grapes according to this seem to contain 5-10mg/100g - (50-100μg/g): https://www.ncbi.nlm...les/PMC4553113/
Californian grapes also seem to contain about 1-6mg/100g: https://www.google.n...ZIgBfiIk-aSFjdM
I wonder if stuff like rapamycin is also found in certain foods.

I feel like 15mg / 90mcg of K2 (relentless improvement brand) may have been giving me strange side effects. Some numbness in arms when exercising. Weird shooting pains in feet.
Would love to find a form of magnesium that doesn't cause me diarrhea
Agreed, K isn't anywhere near as benign as people say. It flatlines me mentally-incable of arousal when on it in large doses. Too bad because the skin effects are amazing- when I megadose people can't help but comment on my complexion.

phenotropil(phenylpiracetam) - not exactly a harm, i enjoyed very much its effects at the beginning. First time 200mgwas amazing but after that it lost its effects premanently and always caused bad comedown so i felt like a crap in the evening.
Vitamin D3 - when i take it before bed, especially when combined with fish oil it makes me feel super foggy in the morning, probably due to its cortisol-lowering properties
Probably some more but i dont recall more now

Do you got a list of good supplements that work that never gave you negative sides?

Finasteride! Kills your libido and gives you sexual problems. Dont take it, a bit more hair is not worth it.

I have some good ones but effects aren't always the same:
-St. Johns Wort by Now Foods(0.3% extract)
-magnesimum citrate
-Pregnenolone - worked super well as a energy, mood and memory booster but stopped working after 3 weeks, during this time it was perfect

Chlorella - extreme social anxiety, intense paranoia, feeling like people are watching me, overstimulated & unable to calm down, (apparently Chlorella is rich in thiol groups and can mobilize heavy metals like Mercury in the body, IDK how true this is, but I avoid at all cost)
Vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin) - breaks me out w/ small pimples all over face, overall texture of skin worsens, takes a few days to a week to clear up after cessation (I'm acne prone so YMMV)
Choline bitartrate, Alpha GPC, CDP-Choline - depressed, inhibited, socially withdrawn, anxious, slow, unmotivated, brain foggy and the back of my neck gets really stiff and sore.
ALCAR - same symptoms as Choline donors but in addition my eyes get kind of red and sore, sort of feel stoned but without the positives.
taking >150mg Vitamin C - on-edge kind of anxiety, sort of shaky, overstimulated (I've read somewhere that Vitamin C is a cofactor for epinephrine synthesis, may be related, but also I eat Vitamin-C rich foods with no issues.)
Tyrosine - extremely irritable (only after regular use)
Copper - over time this magnified all of my emotions, I was an emotional wreck, angry over the smallest incidents, crying too easily watching sad movies or listening to moving music (I was under the impression that Copper needed to be supplemented along with Zinc, but I've learned that Zinc only antagonizes Copper for absorption at the intestinal level and is not physiologically antagonistic. I now take Zinc less often and eat mineral-rich foods to prevent any deficiencies)
Ashwagandha - ADHD-like symptoms. Hard to concentrate on work or study material, brain feels scattered on it
Lithium - felt weird at 10mg, kind of loopy, like in a dream state. I still take 1/2th a 5mg pill once in a blue moon without ill effects.
NAC - great for cognition, mood, motivation the first couple of days but after regular use it dulls my emotions and my motivation plummets.
Zinc on an empty stomach - vomited
(with a meal no problems)
Matcha Tea on an empty stomach - vomited
(with a meal okay)

Longvida curcumin from now foods made me feel sick and odd.
Sounds like it was doing its job as a heavy metal chelator (sick) as well as Ab/tau detoxifier (odd).
Perhaps a chelation protocol is in order?

Hmm, never thought of that. Is it common that those symptoms occur when chelation etc is happening?Sounds like it was doing its job as a heavy metal chelator (sick) as well as Ab/tau detoxifier (odd).
Perhaps a chelation protocol is in order?
