Anyone have interesting ideas for research projects on ageing and prevention in the head and neck area. Spefically oral and maxillo-facial surgery?

Please let me know.

thanks.

I think they're still trying to find a good way to hold BMP 5 in place long enough for bone to form exactly where it is wanted. Right now the state of the art appears to be placing collagen that has been soaked in it. Also finding a way to bring down the cost of osteoinductive regeneration would be fantastic. Just the materials to do a small bone graft by this method run north of $5000 right now which prices it out of the market for many people.

Hi. Thanks for the reply, that is definately a very interesting research idea esp. for the field of implants, CLP repair, osteotomies in the head and neck region. Is there a further link to aging that I might be missing?

Thanks again!
