As the title says, which nootropics need to be cycled in order to preserve the effectiveness?

Personal experience:

Deprenyl - Used for one year with no significant loss of effectiveness. Not as stimulating as it was initially, but it still enhances concentration.

Modafinil - Did not have the same positive effects after one month of daily use.

Can anyone comment on sulbutiamine?

I cycle everything except vitamins and fish oil, or essential nutrients like choline..... for example, I do the 4week creatine with a week off, same with piracetam. I do huperzine possibly 2x a week, when Im not taking piracetam. sulbutiamine is a b1 derivative, so cycling isn't the issue, as much as the raging headache is.... selegiline i take everyother day if im taking it...... drugs like ritalin or modafanil are used as needed basis......

it is nice to give your body a break from exogenous substances once in a while I think, but thats just my unvalidated via scientific research belief.....

I have noticed the effects of armodafinil (Nuvigil) being less after a couple months of use.
Although it still helps, oddly enough some days it affects me more than others and doesn't seem to do with the amount of sleep.

How does deprenyl affect you? Increased memory? concentration?

Mostly increased ability to focus and some improvement in mood.

personal experiences:

deprenyl should NOT be cycled. it should be taken consistently.

modafinil can be used as needed, but best if taken consistently.

sulbutiamine should be cycled
