I read about Peelu toothpaste at Matt Metzgar's blog and thought I'd give it a try. I consume plenty of coffee, tea, and cocoa and have somewhat tinged teeth. As with the claims, my and my girlfriend's teeth looked noticeably whiter within a week of using it once per day (regular toothpaste the rest of the time). It says non-abrasive but I'm wondering how it would go about whitening teeth if it wasn't. The plant it's derived from is described in Wikipedia, but didn't offer much detail.

Any ideas on why it works, or on Peelu in general?

All I have heard is that it's an all natural toothpaste and that it tastes gross but since you got me curious, check out what I found. That toothpaste may be worth it after all. --> http://www.ahintofpi...toothpaste.html
