I am currently taking an SSRI (buproprion) that increases my chances of getting a seizure. It is dangerous for me to increase my blood pressure too much. My question is how much will piracetam increase my blood pressure? is it safe to take it?

please reply
thanks

Personally I think it lowers it. When hitting the pira. pretty hard my blood pressure drops and sometimes if I get up too quickly I feel light headed.

There's that, and also taking piracetam with wellbutrin could be doubly dangerous because of the risk of excitotoxicity (over-stimulation of glutamate receptors). I believe that taking wellbutrin is PART of what led to my piracetam-induced "crash". I wouldn't recommend taking the two concurrently for prolonged periods of time.
