Is Vinpocetine an equivalent substitute for Hydergine?

I wanted to use Hydergine initially, but Vinpocetine is easier to get and cheaper. Would one experience the same benefits from Vinpocetine that one would get from Hydergine?

Correct me if I'm wrong here but that's like comparing apples to oranges.
I don't believe their effects are even close to similar...hydergine works with receptors like dopamine, and serotonin...perhaps a few others. I believe it is an MAO inhibitor. While vinpocetine just increases blood flow to the brain.

So, no, I would say that vinpocetine is an equivalent substitute. However, I feel it's effects are well worth the use.
