Hello,

I went to see a new dentist today and I bought some GC tooth Mousse from them.

The only thing is I now realise that it contains Titanium Dioxide.

http://en.wikipedia....alth_and_safety

"Titanium dioxide dust, when inhaled, has recently been classified by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) as an IARC Group 2B carcinogen possibly carcinogenic to humans.[31] Titanium dioxide accounts for 70% of the total production volume of pigments worldwide. It is widely used to provide whiteness and opacity to products such as paints, plastics, papers, inks, foods, and toothpastes. "

Should I be concerned about this?

The ingredients are:

Pure water, Glycerol, CPP-ACP, D-Sorbitol, CMC-Na, Proplene Glycol, Silicon Dioxide, Titanium dioxide, Xylitol, Phosphoric acid, Sodium fluoride, flavoring, sodium saccharin, ethyl p-hydroxybenzoate, propyl p-hydroxybenzoate, Butyl p-hydroxybenzoate.

Unless you are drying the toothpaste, pulverizing it, and inhaling it, I don't think you have anything to worry about. Being wet stops particulates in their tracks.
