My husband got me into nootropics after we were both balancing work and continuing education in professional fields.
What was cake to accomplish at 19 becomes a little bit harder at 34 ;)

He practically lives on them, where I admit I use them only if I've got something intense to study and don't just take them every day.
In any case, we've both got rather high supplement habits between vitamins and nootropics and so on, and those get expensive to support in a hurry.

As such, I'm perpetually googling various items to see if anyone is having a sale, etc.
And today I stumbled onto a company called Smart Powders.

Their noot prices are so crazy low that I decided to quit lurking and actually made an account here just to ask about them.
For example, 50g of oxiracetam powder for about 30.00 USD (which is over 20 bucks less than I usually get it for)

They also have powders and/or capsules for all the other -racetams I've ever heard of (pi- ani- prami-)

But here's the thing....does anyone know anything about these folks...because I've *never* heard of them.
I'd been getting most of my noots from American Nutrition, with an occasional bounce over to the gawd-awful Biogenesis corp when I wanted to gank some Vassopressin (two words: customs nightmare).

I cannot fathom why their products are so much cheaper than other names I know/relatively trust.
They seemed to pop up out of nowhere, and I'm having a devil of a time finding any corporate data on them.
The company seems to be an offshoot of the 1Fast400 (or at least some guy who founded that one is now doing this), but that's all I could get off their website.
I don't remember from the forum rules if linking websites is allowed or not so just do a Google on "Smart Powders" and you'll find them.

I don't want to be taking daily doses of chalk or bug eggs or carpet lint or whatever it is that disreputable companies cut powders with these days.

Can anyone speak for this brand?

The owner of Smart Powders, Mike M, posts here fairly often.

If I have the history correct, the company was originally 1Fast400 / BulkNutrition. It was then sold to a Massachusetts based supplement company who continued to carry Mike's bulk powders. I think Smart Powders came into existence around the time Bulk Nutrition stopped carrying nootropics. There was probably a non-compete agreement that recently expired because Smart Powder's product line now includes just about everything BN carried and then some. Somewhere along the line Primaforce popped up as a rebranded version of some of 1Fast400's powders.

So... 1Fast400, Bulk Nutrition, Smart Powders, Primaforce ... I've used bulk powders from all of them.

Sweetness...

I had absolutely *rotten* results from Nature's Way Phosphatidyl Serine (500mg complex, supposedly provides 100mg PS - absolute crap even at 10 pills a day I noticed no positive effects that one would expect from PS) and I recently had the dubious pleasure of giving myself mild Theobromide poisoning (better out than in....) by not paying attention to the contents of that chemical across all the stuff I was taking, so I'm a bit gun shy of any new supplement these days lol.

I ordered from SP last year after Mike posted on another forum I use after I complained about BN not stocking nootropics anymore.

The man was good at communication and his prices are low and you can download a purity analysis for most (probably all) items.

Just wanted to remind everyone that we have a retailer/product discussion forum for this type of topic. It is for Imminst members and users to discuss brand name products and the companies that manufacture them. We created this in order to limit viral marketing activities. We would like the supps&noos forums to focus on the science of supplementation. Unfortunately discussions about brand names and companies usually devolve into flame wars and are not good for advancing the science of supplementation.

So just remember the Retailer/Product Discussion forum in the future for topics such as this.

Yes, Smart Powders is a good, reliable company. I've had about any nootropic from them and they all worked! Especially aniracetam, oxiracetam, and gotta love it - Idebenone. They also ship international - in case you're not in the US.
