actually siRNA is already a part of our natural immune system. it works mostly againt viruses (but it has hard time to target cancer cells) i.e. siRNA is not caltech invention at all. i guess if they have invented anything, it would be a novel method to deliver siRNA exclusively/efficiently to cancer cells, the details of which i can't seem to find anywhere. somebody ask sheldon plz.
