This is sort of a carry on from my other thread but mroe specific to modalert and modafinil.

Is modalert really that much worse? I've heard contradicting statements that they are either practically the same or modalert is a waste of time. From what I've gathered Modalert is manufactured in india and has more impurities.

Anyone with experience of both? Is modalert better than adrafinil? I've again heard mixed reports of adrafinil either being extremely uneffective or exactly the same a modafinil although with more pronounced side effects, such as liver issues. Conflicting research on which would be the best value for money with regards to adrafinil, modalert or modafinil. I don't want to spend £70 on something, but nor do I want to spend £40 on something that doesn't work.

I ask, because modafinil is incredibly expensive but modalert can be found cheaper. I'm interested in spending £30-£40 on a study drug to use 2-3 times a week in the run up to exams. Anyone have any reccomendations or sources they are experienced with? If I have posted this in the wrong section tell me and I'll delete/re-post it.
