About ten years ago my friend was into network marketing. He gave me a bottle of "Metamorphosis" to try out. The serving was 3 pills. Company has been dead for a long time, but anyone here have any remote idea of what it was? Back then, I thought it was a pretty crappy supplement, but now, I am searching for something that can do half or even one fourth of what it did for me.

When I took it, I felt invincible. It made me angry. I felt like I could fight anyone and win (being young and rebellious did not help). It didn't give me heart palpitations like how an energy drink would. To sum it up, it gave me lots of energy, and it made me mad. Too bad I didn't work out back then.

Because if I had it now, that supplement would kick ass during squat or deadlift day. Is there any supplement that gets one into a "kick ass" mode?

Tyrosine and/or DLPA.

May have been in the supplement, or at least can produce those kind of results. There are plenty of supplements that do what you described. Ergolean AMP and Avant Labs HEAT Stack are popular in certain bodybuilding communities.

What prohormones did you take and why? Are you saying you were doing HRT?

No, I just decided to go on a 30 day cycle to help with muscle gain. I took nolvadex

I presume you mean that you did a 30 day prohormone cycle followed by nolvadex to restore endogenous T production. Nolvadex is not a prohormone, but rather a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM).

@Animal: +1. I was going to say it sounds like amphetamine.

I've heard of tyrosine increasing anger/agitation, and hydergine causing a feeling of megalomania.

Or it could be something which affects testosterone?

I will check out Tyrosine. Does it have the same effect as Taurine?

Never heard of hydergine.

Sounds like Cocaine!

Something legal with similar effects without the side effects would be cool huh?

As I recall, it was androstendione (andro) mixed with ephedrine.

Look into methylated testosterone (not legal-andro isn't either) it WON'T turn you into Mr. Olympia, oddly enough, but it will put you in that mood that you want back into. Ephedrine will accelerate this like andro did, but this formulation is better except for one aspect. Take milk thistle after you workout from that, EPH and methyl testosterone are hard on the liver - just as Metamorphosis was. This would actually be a superior formulation of that and methyl testosterone is cheap - as is ephedrine, and milk thistle - which wasn't a part of "metamorphosis."

PM me if you need source details. =)

It's called Ritalin, and if you can't be arsed with boring work, tell a doctor and he'll give you some kiddie coke to make it interesting. ;)
