I hadn't seen that, thanks--good to see the song getting an update and exposure with a new generation. My 8 year old girl sort of floored me a few months back when she was singing Forever Young to herself. I asked her where she heard it, and she said they were singing it in her choir at school! My 13 year old daughter said that the song is a lot more popular with the kids here in the UK than in the US, she had not heard the song is school before moving here-they had even sung it in her Secondary school.

I'm in the US and Forever Young is playing on the airwaves or people's playlists so much it's maddening. At least in Boston, where I live, it is quite prevalent as well. I'm glad our message is spreading and with that in mind I'm able to put up with hearing it 20 times daily :-p. I'm glad the seed is being planted in the younger generations - who knows, it may inspire more kids to want to become scientists or doctors one day.

I wish The Message was spread by songs that aren't completely rubbish ( I really hate the melody of the chorus ), but still it's good anyway.

Love this song!
Run This Town, Big Pimpin', Empire State of Mind and Hard Knock Life too!

Love the original, love the Jay-Z remix and the music video itself is brilliant. Very evocative imagery...
