ohh really, i was running low on L-tyrosine so i guess i should buy NALT instead? how much NALT is equal to 1g of l-tyrosine? or isn't it like that.. i found pills of NALT that are with B6, and another brand that has folic acid and B6. if they are actually that much better i'll definitely get them over the tyrosine.

If you want, it's 10-20X more potent. Works through the same exact pathways, and usual dose is 300mgs from what I see other people take. I take 200mg usually. It's water soluble too and generally is less expensive considering potency than L-tyrosine, which is cheaper up front, but you have to take 10-20 times more of it.

oh wow awesome so 350mg could be about 3.5g :o

I heard that the NALT is better absorbed but that is not proven and that LT is absorbed better.

The daily dosage of tyrosine supported in the majority of the literature is 100 mg/kg [4, 19]. Therefore, the daily dosage for most will probably fall in the 3-12 g range. Exceeding this amount is not recommended, and the dosage should be started on the lower end of this range to determine personal tolerance, especially if one is taking stimulants or antidepressants. The dosage should be divided among 3 or more doses daily. Around 2 g prior to exercise may be used to improve athletic performance.

N-acetyl-L-tyrosine has been proposed as a "better" form of tyrosine. While the present research is limited, it indicates that if anything N-acetyl-L-tyrosine is inferior. When orally administered to mice, N-acetyl-L-tyrosine was less bioavailable than tyrosine and two other prodrugs [37]. When given parentally, N-acetyl-tyrosine has inferior bioavailability compared to tyrosine in piglets and human newborns [38].

I'm saying NALT is the way to go because of cost/benefit ratio and less competition for absorption with whatever else you may be taking that may share the same absorption receptor ports.

I'll cite my sources (other than the blatant fact that the dosage is 10-20 times smaller) when I get the time. LT has more abstracts than NALT because as a supplement, it has about a 30-40 year head start, but, Source Naturals and Jarrow both make the claim so I'm sure the abstracts are out there somewhere.

Go with NALT unless you find LT in a bargain bin and simply want to add it to protein shakes or smoothies.

I'll cite when I find the abstracts, just be patient.

I can't seem to find some relatively cheap adderall that ships international (not from UK or USA), anyone find any sources that you know are legit?

You need a script for Adderall, the only way to get it is to to your doctor and get a prescription.

I would recommend Bacopa, Rhodiola and Cognitol. These three herbs combined will give you the clarity and mental stamina that you seek. If you are interested in synthetic medicine, I would recommend Paracetam and Deprenyl.

Though the ordering process is rather convoluted and requires you to confirm certain information through submitting the relevant documents.

Its impossible to get a med like Adderall online, its a controlled susbstance in the same class as Cocaine. If there are sources online selling it, it is probably fake. Most of these online pharmacies sell products from India and Adderall is not manufactured there.

Most of the drugs sold on the internet usually come from third world countries such as India. Drugs like Adderall are not manufactured there. Also even the genuine meds you get from these sites might not be the same quality. If there is a website selling Adderall its mostly likely a scam site, and you will mostly likely get fake medication.

Also you cannot legally bring Adderall from Mexico, and its highly likely customs will search you when crossing the US Mexican border.

Just go to your doctor and ask for a prescription.

Oh wow thanks, does it increase concentration in a similar way? How long do the effects last when all taken? Are they anywhere near as intense?

Hmm i see.. I would try deprenyl but I'm not even in my 20s so it doesn't seem like a good idea. Though, I have read that 1mg doses can be used for the younger ages a couple of times a week - may be risky? Regardless, I can't seem to find the liquid anywhere to buy, so i dont think i can get it anyway.

Ah, sorry, I guess I misread it.

As for looking elsewhere, it's just my two cents (and worth exactly that). I noticed a while ago that based on the anecdotal experience of others including myself, the effects were inconsistent for treating attention issues (both drastically from one person to the next, and drastically in one person from week to week, or experience to experience). Some days it would make me speedy, some days it would make me tired, and most days I didn't really notice it - especially after a month or so. Wellbutrin felt similar to the increased focus days on dep, was easier for me to get, and I didn't have to try to predict my reaction from day to day. Same goes for adderall, ritalin, and strattera.

Strattera I can't fairly review as I was only on it for a month and I had nothing serious going on at the time to test my concentration or anxiety. Ritalin in all it's forms treats me very well, especially the extended release (concerta). Adderall works for my focus and energy, but ups my anxiety, destroys my sleep and feels more edgy/impure.
