Hey I was wondering if you could critic my nootropic stack.

I am taking this two times a day currently.

1g Acetyl-L-Carnitine
700mg Choline Bitartrate
60mg Idebenone
1.6g Piracetam
300mg R-ALA
20mg Vinpocetine

I take ALCAR/R-ALA on an empty stomach.

Is there anything I can add to make this stack more effective?
Do any of the dosages need to be corrected?

Thank you for your input.

I'd Lose the Choline Bitartrate and pick up some Alpha GPC. GPC readily crosses the blood brain barrier. With choline bitartrate, you need to reach some critical blood plasma level before it will cross over the barrier.

I plan on picking up Alpha GPC, once I run out of Choline Bitartrate.
Until then, could I just increase the dosage of my Choline intake?

I am thinking of adding Aniracetam, Picamilon, and Pyritinol to my stack.
Would it be wise to add these nootropics to my current regimen to make it more effective?

Thanks.

Yes on all three counts. Especially the aniracetam and pyritinol. A very small minority has reported bad reactions or liver problems with pyritinol in larger doses. Nobody on this board I believe, but I have read about it.

I've been taking 200mg of pyritinol for a couple of months with no problems. It really makes a difference for some people. Others notice little or nothing.

You might also consider centrophenoxine as another choline source. Research results, recommendations, opinions, and reactions to this substance vary. I happen to like it. Just be careful not to take too much because it is a very efficient choline source and can cause a bad headache if you take too much.

Do they act differently, synergize, or?

Each molecule has different effects. All of the pyrrolidone derivatives are quite safe; even in gargantuan doses.

I recently decided to lower (my twice daily doses: breakfast and lunch) from:

1600 mg piracetam
750 mg aniracetam
800 mg oxiracetam

to

800 mg piracetam
600 mg aniracetam
600 mg oxiracetam

For the same reason I like having two (hey, even three) women in bed. Need I explain more? [tung]

They each have different effects; all beneficial to brain metabolism.

You may find it preferable to take some supplements that, in my opinion, enhance the relative effectiveness of a nootropic stack. I'd suggest you research and propose trying a few or more of the following:

hormones
- 30-100mg Pregnenolone(everyother day if you are under 40)
- Vasopressin works for some(everyother day); could be your easy access to a few hours of increased memory logging for later recall
precursors to epinephrine, norepinephrine, dopamine/catecholamine enhancers(start w/ low doses if combined)
- 2.5-10mg Deprenyl
- 750mg-1.5g each of DLPA and L-Tyrosine
- 1-3g Chocamine
- Hydergine + Bromocriptine + Nicergoline ergots work well
- Adrafinil is noteable and wakes me up even early in the morning, though i do fine without it when taking the aminos w/ low dose deprenyl.
- might as well take a "b-50 complex"

It takes at least 1-2months to really notice the nootropics for most people, just keep consistent, and id also suggest 30min of cardio a day.

if you get overstimulated you could add 50-100mg 5-htp/ 500mg-1g L-Tryptophan and/or gaba/phenibut to combat the excessive dopamine/adrenalin
