I came across this a couple of days ago and thought others might be interested so I'm posting it here.
I found it mentioned at the end of of a video I watched called "Are The Foods You're Eating Making You Sick". The supplement is made by the same people that produced video.
Here's part of the product description:
Lectins are specialized proteins commonly found in fruits, vegetables, and seafood, and especially in grains, beans and seeds. They are not degraded by stomach acid or proteolytic enzymes, making them virtually resistant to digestion. Certain lectins consumed in everyday foods can bind to cells in the gut and to blood cells, initiating an inflammatory response and contributing to such problems as digestive disorders, weight gain, post-meal fatigue and immune challenges. Lectin Lock™ is a unique blend designed to “lock up” problematic lectins and safely escort them out of the body. Take with every meal for better health now as part of a program of prevention for the future.
Here's the ingredient list:
Iodine 50 mcg (from Bladderwrack extract)
N-Acetyl Glucosamine (from crab) 400 mg
Bladderwrack 200 mg (Fucus versiculosus) extract
Okra Powder 100 mg
D-Mannose 100 mg
Mucin 100 mg
Sodium Alginate 100 mg
Pepsin 50 mg

Unfortunately I couldn't find any information about effectiveness. I wonder what percentage of lectins it would be able to neutralize?
