I plan to do something slightly different with Danila and Valerija, but here is a template for invited speakers.

Sven, since you populated most of the list of invited speakers, the invitation is probably best coming from you for most of them - especially the Belgians, who seem to be Dutch-speaking. Of course we'll really need a presentation from them in English, but it is nice to be invited in one's mother tongue.

I've included a template below, as requested.

So if you could invite the people you feel comfortable inviting, and let me know which you have invited, that'd be great.

I will invite the Russians, and any others you think would be better coming from me.

Cheers,

DS

Good [time of day], [name here].

I hope you are well.

The ImmInst Conference 2010 is being officially announced very shortly. It will be at the International Auditorium, in Brussels, the weekend of the 9th and 10th of October, 2010.

Because of your leading work in the field of [recipient’s field here], we’d really appreciate it if you could speak on one of the days.

We would cover your expenses.

Please let me know if this would be acceptable to you, and if so, whether you would be available on the Saturday, or the Sunday, or either, so that we can schedule a slot (which by default would be around 40 minutes, but can be extended if you’d want longer) for you.

We’d not need a title from you until nearer the time.

Many thanks in advance,

Eternally,

Sven Bulterijs
Director, ImmInst
