In the old board (and in most forum software) there is an advanced search page, where you can search as normal, but specify a username to search within. Very useful for finding a discussion by what you remember a certain person saying, or for one of your own posts.

I just figured out that you can search by member, and on the results page click forums, to find the topics a user has posted in (or at least the last 200). And in the drop-down menu above the userinfo on a post, there's a button that says Find My Content, which appears to list all threads, and has better sorting options.

But is there a way to search for a member's post which contain a certain word/phrase?
