Hi,
Found this forum early this week whilst looking for alternative medicines for treatment of ADHD. I am ADHD-PI, have varying degrees of brain fog, severe concentration problems (which can lead to entire days of staring at a computer screen rather than doing work).
Note: I am aware this is an immortality forum that has been invaded by ADHD heads. To put your minds at ease, I am also interested in extended my lifespan (I've spent enough time shortening it).
I have recently stopped drinking (1 week, 3 days since last withdrawal nightmare/hallucination)
Also, stopped 4 months low dose (20-40mg daily) Codeine (1.5 weeks, still getting mild withdrawal symptoms; insomnia, restlessness)
Here is a quick rundown of my experiences so far:
Day 1
Evening (6PM):
2g Piracetam
.5g Choline Barbiturate
.2g ALCAR
Noticed increase in details observed whilst looking around (placebo?). Rhodiola and Ashwagandha before sleep, problems sleeping.
Day 2
Morning (8AM):
2g Piracetam
.5g Choline Barbiturate
.2g ALCAR
Wake up dehydrated. (note: I had this problem for 6 weeks after giving up alcohol last time)
Obvious buzzing at 10AM, slightly distracting, but overall focus increase.
Back to baseline at 2:30, loss of focus.
Headache, guessing rebound from recent excess of headache tablets. Lecithin didn't work. Ibuprofen sorted it out.
Ate some Rich Tea biscuits (6x8.4g), 20 mins later suddenly felt hyper again.
Evening (6PM):
2g Piracetam
.5g Choline Barbiturate
.2g ALCAR
Wake up dehydrated.
Physically and mentally knackered, Rhodiola and Ashwagandha before sleep, problems sleeping.
Day 3
Morning (8AM):
2g Piracetam
.8g Choline Barbiturate
.5g ALCAR
Initially no effect, then at 10AM, more Rich Tea Biscuits.
20 Mins later, more intense buzzing than yesterday, lasts until 2:30. Take 1g Piractem, fog returns as yesterday.
Now:
Wondering whether to drop the dose to 1g in the morning, and 1g in the evening or leave as is... Would like to be on the ball tomorrow night, going to a party, and I won't be drinking or anything...
Any thoughts?
