About women: Be a man, it's that simple. Watch David DeAngelo 'seminars' (videos), I think he really tries to help not just make money and bragg. It will help you with more than just women.
Acne: Only thing that helped me is daily use of aspirin+baking soda mask (baking powder works too, but not as good). Mix it with some lemon juice (1/2 of a lemon), or just rubb them on wet face and leave it there for 5 to 20 minutes. Rinse. It is by far the most effective thing I ever used.
And thank you for the tip about Schisandra, will order soon.

The Adrenal Complex product also contains a lot of other ingredients. Did you ever try any other schisandra products to confirm that it was in fact the schisandra that aggravated your acne prone skin?Sadly I had to stop taking the Schizandra due to it aggravating my (currently well managed) acne prone skin. As long as I stick to my skincare regime I very rarely get spots, but the Schizandra caused the development of well beyond the normal amount of acne for me. I get this with ginseng too unfortunately, so I can't take that either, even though it helps me. A day after eliminating Schizandra from my stack the acne symptoms subsided, I tried taking it again and the same side-effects resulted and abated directly in proportion with my Schizandra usage.
I can't bear having any acne really since I used to suffer with an extreme form of the disease when younger, so I refuse to suffer with it now.

Meh. I ordered some Schisandra Adrenal Complex since I'm used to acne by now (flawless logic). I should get the product soon. It should fit nicely into my excessive herbal stack (think space elevator).I'm quite baffled that he'd pass up such a potent fatigue-reliever just because of acne. I'd rather have acne than CFS, let me tell you!

Initial impressions:
I like it a lot. It seemed to helped me get out of bed this morning and it seemed to ward away that feeling of "perhaps I should go back to bed and take a nap before I get ready for my day". Not many things seem to help against that except potent stims and this. I even exercised some in the morning; I haven't done that in ages. I might even try to wake up a little earlier tomorrow.

Chinese yam rhizome-> Chinese yam, dioscorea opposita, Japanese mountain yam, Korean yam
Poria scelrotium->Fu ling, poria, tuckahoe, china root
asian water plantain rhizome->same, rhizome means root
rehmannia root->rehmannia glutinosa, chinese foxglove
Chinese dodder seed->dodder seed, cuscutta chinensis
palm-leaf raspberry fruit->Same.
Lycium fruit extract->Goji berries, wolfberries (i've munched on these for ages just for the taste, can't claim they do much by themselves!)
Asiatic dogwood berry extract-> Dogwood berry, dogwood, cornus officinalis, cornelian cherry fruit
Most of these substances seem hard to obtain in isolation, or I'd try making a more efficient version myself. To think that most of this stuff costs less than a $ on a chinese market stall... chinese yam they even eat as a staple!

Well, I've been taking 2 pills in the morning and 2 in the afternoon, like 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Those are the times that I'm most tired anyway so I'm sticking to the recommended dosage. I can't really give any reliable account of the effects since I'm taking so many different herbs and supplements right now but I think I like this a lot so far. Feels kind of stimulating. Right now I've spaced out the different AChEI-herbs I'm taking so I never take more than one at the same time since for instance taking both schisandra and gotu kola seems to make me prone to headaches. So right now; morning = schisandra, lunch = gotu kola, afternoon = schisandra, evening/night = ashwagandha. My skin flared up somewhat initially but I can't say that my acne is much worse now on this regimen than it was before though next I might experiment some with topical cedar oil to reduce sebum.Does anyone who has reported their experiences on this stuff use a different dosage than the one recommended (2x2 pills a day)?

You can buy it here: http://www.lulu.com/...cal-man/3063284
Or read it for free here: http://www.scribd.co...e-Practical-Man
Sadly, I think the author lost a lot of money because everyone took the 2nd option: his website seems to have disappeared. Still, it's a fantastic insight into different types of women, how they think, and how to deal with them effectively.
Edit: one of the authors' sites is still up and it has a lot of good info: http://francoseduction.com/
Best of luck!
I agree with kilgore. Such controlling jealousy is a clear sign of insecurities. She probably just wants to keep you around as her security blanket since it makes her feel good about herself. Even if I'm totally wrong about that you should definitely start seeing others even if you're still talking to her.
To keep this somewhat on topic: does tolerance to the Schisandra product or Eluthero seem to build up?
Well that week long break from txting or talking didn't last, she started txting me again today and rang me earlier on, saying that she missed communicating with me and couldn't stand a week without contact. I'll just make clear that she lives in London and I live in Coventry, which are 1-2hrs away by train, so it's not like we can see each other very easily. So we had a pleasant conversation and she said she'd bought me a gift, a real prehistoric insect trapped in amber that cost her over £60, that is a gift that I would love by the way. I'm not sure what's going on because yesterday I said I was going to send her some flowers and chocolate and she wouldn't let me because she claimed it was too romantic, but her gift is more neutral so it's okay. Bah, I'm confused, so what I'm going to do is play this game where we pretend to just be 'friends' for a few weeks and see where it leads. If I don't feel that we're going to get back together after this amount of time I'll just let our friendship evaporate because it'll help me move on properly.
I've realised though that my continued attraction to her isn't solely emotional, her appearance is a major factor, I think she looks incredible, though I know she wouldn't be to everyone's taste. Also the sex was by far the best I've ever had. I only mention this because I'm wondering if we're just not compatible personality wise, but I'm trying to get back with her for superficial reasons.
I don't think tolerance develops, I've continued to take my current dose every day and it still seems as effective as ever.

If you tone up the spleen with herbs like codonopsis, white atractylodes, poria, and honey fried licorice, you'll see a real difference in energy
do you know what would be the dose for atractylodes taken in powder?

As for the content earlier in the thread about my girl troubles, shall we forget that ever happened?

As a fellow CFS/ME sufferer, I'll be more convinced if it lasts!
Several supplements have shown short-term benefit for me, but almost none long-term. I do remember liking adapt 232 very much, which contained rhodiola, eleuthero, and schisandra. Too bad we can't get it in the states anymore.
I'll be following this thread so please update if you continue to feel well.
Late, but just in case, Adapt 232 is back in USA for purcharse http://www.iherb.com...-Capsules/36209
