I like the new layout of the site and I find it much easier to funnel into the subjects that most interest me. Overall I find the changes positive. Despite the improvements I still mantain an interest in a large number of subjects and I find it quite cumbersome to navigate into the various new areas on the forum. I found the old "active topics" button to be an extremely helpful shortcut for me to stay on top of recent developments and discussions that I would not otherwise actively pursue.

Please bring it back
- If anyone else found the button helpful please feel free to add a reply.

Regards

View New Content link at the top right of the forum underneath the search box?

The Active Topics function is still existing but a little hidden and under a different name. You have to be logged in and then you go to the main forum page, scroll down and near the bottom, above the list with the active users, you'll find a link that's called "Today's active content". The new function "View New Content" lists only every new content since your last log in but - if you log in daily, far instance - cannot be used to find or go back to some older entries from the last days or weeks.

There is also 'recent topics' in the lovely sidebar.

"View new content" is NOT "Active Topics". If you aren't logged in you can't even use this function -- which is one of the most incompetent and destructive things you can do to these forums... congrats.

Thanks everyone!

The recent topics link on the left sidebar is very helpful.
