Are there any gadgets for the Conference, like pens with the ImmInst logo?

Engraved (quite eternal) logo, navy blue color (which matches the ImmInst website color):

250 pens = 655 PLN = $218 (135 GBP). Plus shipping & handling.

4 sets for 126 PLN each + one set for free, making it 250 pens for 504 PLN, which is about $168 (or 104 GBP).

I talked to brokenportal yesterday and he agreed to sponsor them on behalf of ImmInst.

So I made some logos for the pen.
The logo would be 65x6 mm, so smaller that what you can see on the screen below.

(The original files are all .png and very large, I am posting previews for you to choose which one would you like most.)

I think its important to have something like this but we still have to propose a final amount. 250 for $168 seems about right. If they dont have blue then I think white or silver works.

They do have blue and I think about trying other colors as well from another seller.

Once I have the pens in my hands and can see the quality, I ask both sellers about the price for 250 pens.

My bad for not noticing this topic more swiftly, but it would be great if we could have the URL on there too. I realise that people at the conference will invariably know the URL, but it's about exposure. People can be encouraged to leave their pens with people who are likely to come visit

For the other side, you might consider, "because life is an amazing opportunity." and or "Join Today" "Show your support, register free today."

What I would do now is ask David and or Sven if they want you to move this to a vote, then start a vote in the votes and important issues section. The vote has to be seconded by the chairperson first, so stipulate that. Then hopefully we can vote this in so we can have them for the conference.

Pens are great.
For their other side, LongeCity would have been nice if we had been sufficiently rapid to establish the link between ImmInst and Longecity by now.

LongeCty it is the city of people acting towards longeVity: a common place where everyone has a role, leading to skyscraper-like life-extensions. Grouping the various life-extending tribes (like imminst), unifying forces towards longer lives, in perhaps a more industrialized manner. City is a symbol for crowd, activity, technology and progress.

Also just throwing an non-finalized idea: some sort of electronic calendar for longevity-science&lobbying events. I'm not very familiar with electronic gadgets, but perhaps someone here is familiar (e.g. someone from Asia) and if this gadget exists it could be the common gadget hold by everyone interested in the cause.

As to the electronic gadgets, could you please post an URL to something you have in mind (or similar)?

I decided to use simply ImmInst.org and nothing more, exactly as JML suggested below, only I did it some days ago :P

Have you sent some ImmInst gadgets to Brussels?

I have never been to an ImmInst Conference, but I imagine there could be a stand with ImmInst (and immortality&longevity-related) stuff: books (not necessarily to sell - just to show to people; however if someone can sell them and it is legal, would be best) and other things, whatever you have available - anything people can touch and possibly take home. Better something they will use not at home. So not a clock or fridge magnet - something they will show to other people.

If they have not been sent yet, please do it soon, as the parcel will need some time to be delivered (what about customs?).

If by "Chairperson" you mean of the conference organisation committee, that's me, and I would rather it be done, and done sooner rather than later, with the maximum haste and minimum bureaucracy (ie, if it can be done without a vote, great, if not, please vote it in, thanks).

If youve been granted money for stuff like this then pm Shepard and ask him to place the order. Have him send them to you or Sven.

If you havent been granted funding for this kind of stuff, then I would rather we make this quick too, but you may just have to go through a vote for it.

Nice, looks great. Looking at these I think I might buy a bunch of similar promotional items here soon to keep on hand. The pens look great and the calendars are a perfect idea really. They are small, not a business card, iconic, are informative and look nice.
