I know the people involved with an organization dedicated to such faraway threats must either have a sense of humour or a wacky sense of perspective -- so either way I'd really like to know if anyone out there has an institute trying to protect us from supernovae and heat death.
(I know about Lifeboat, and I think it's neat -- I'm looking for folks dealing with existential risks that won't happen for another million years at the earliest.)
