Hello,
you guys seem to be so familiar with something I haven't heard of before [:o] . It would be really helpful if someone could provide me with any previous posts regarding recommended nootropics for beginners, dosages etc.

Thank you in advance,
Marina

scottl, thanks for replying.
I'm a law student and I'm taking no vitamins or health supplements. I need to improve my studying performance (better concentration and memory). Due to stress, sometimes I suffer from insomnia but not a severe one. Can't think of any other health problems at the moment. What would you advise me to start with?

Marina,

I'm running on no sleep just now. If no-one else chimes in I'll get back to you...in a day or two.

In the meantime, increasing acetyl choline increases memory [choline sources: alpha GPC, CDP choline and the enzymes that inhibit acetyl choline breakdown: huperzine-A, galantamine, aricept (need prescription)].

Read up on these and read as much as you can on this board:

Oh and:

At a bare minimum you'll want to take a good multivitamin (e.g. twinlab daily two without iron is a good one) and some vitamin C e.g. 500 mg ascorbate form vitamin C twice a day with food. There are a number of net places to get them discount. vitaminshoppe.com is one.

You will find concentration enhanced by enough sleep and high protein lower carb meals.

Thanks, I'll do "my homework". Take all the rest you can get...
Waiting for your return. Anyone else would like to share his thoughts/experience?

~Marina
