Currently i'm on selank, i tried afobazole and i will be trying cerebrolysin soon, anything else that may be interesting guys?

You know you want to! A powerful way to set you apart from those using KY Jelly.

[moved from Supplements]

Another one that comes to mind is Tenoten/Proproten, a novel anxiolytic. Discussed here.

I'm curious what effect ingesting 200mg of badger fat is supposed to produce.

I'm guessing you have high hopes since you moved this thread to the nootropics forum.

A notable supplement that has a history of supplementation dating back to 1585!: http://www.sciencemu...ay.aspx?id=4074

It was believed to have soothing and pain relieving qualities and to mend broken bones and muscles or reduce fevers and inflammation.

Packaging used to be way cooler though...

Before this, primitive supplement users had to store their badger fat in actual badgers. This made them both very cranky.

Especially if you take 200mg daily.

Proproten
Cerebrolysin
Semax

Noopept

Noopept looks really interesting, I wonder how it compares to Piracetam. I wish I knew Russian.

According to Ben - Aus here at the forum Noopept might be better to take sublingually.

The fact that I can't understand the research because of the language barrier is somewhat of a turn-off for me personally. Plus the FAQ translated by google says this:

How often can I repeat the treatment Noopept?

The duration of intake Noopept depends on the nature of the disease, is usually recommended course of 1,5-3 months, which can be repeated after a month's break.

I can't find much mention of side effects and most studies are in Russian. They hail it as being neuroprotective and super-awesome in every way in all the studies and in their marketing sooooo... does anyone know why you shouldn't take this chronically?

I hope you try Noopept since I'm a good Piracetam responder and I'd love to hear more about something that is being hyped as a super-charged version.

^^ I just moved the main Noopept thread here from the Retailers forum (which doesn't show up in google results); there's a lot more info.

Unfortunately 1010 has been out of Noopept for a couple of weeks. I hope they get it back soon, since it's about 4x cheaper than TLR's research version.

@Medievil, you picked out the same ones I'm familiar with, as well (or at least, the ones unique to 1010). I also noticed an oral version of Cortexin a few days ago (I think they spelled it "corteksyn" or some such). Actovegin (calf blood) is another one, though I think it has limited nootropic potential.

I'd be very interested if you could get some tenoten/proproten; I have a couple dozen papers on it and the S100 pathway, but unfortunately I'm really no closer to being able to say with certainty if it's a proper novel drug or a useless homeopathic scam that a few Russian research groups have decided to back for some reason. Or, perhaps more accurately, it has a lot of promising (if not methodologically rigorous) in vitro and human research, but the mechanism is still a little unclear. I plan on trying it sometime, but I'd be very curious to hear your experience. Its pathway is entirely unique, so I think it could be combined with essentially any other drug I'm aware of (though I'm unsure if it would modulate/overshadow the experience in any way). If you decide to order a box I'll bump my research summary for that to the top of my list.

I pretty much decided to try everything thats affordable on my list, so semax may fall off unless we get a cheaper source soon, next up is gonna be cere and after that proproten, both i'm interested in but cere looks a bit more interesting due to the good reports on it so i'l try that first, i'l probably order them both at the same time one of the days.

Actovegin also sparkled some of my intrest, but not sure wheter i'l give that a try.

Maybe its an idea to get semax synthed like negcreep did with selank, but only if a few members agree to share the costs, i'm sure a few would be interested here. (or just one member synthing it and then selling it to a few others).

Shouldn't be too hard. Semax seems like it has great potential from what I've read. This made it look pretty good. You could probably gather some abstracts and slap up a new post about it to see if anyone is interested. I'm on a pretty tight budget right now though and I couldn't find much about how chronic use of this might work out, yet it seems intriguing.

Yeah, the anecdotal report i saw on it also looked good, it also appears to share the enkephalin-degrading enzymes inhibiting effect so could show some interesting synergy with selank too. (if i decide to keep on taking selank, will try semax on its own if first if we manage to get it synthed).

But next up is cere, so will probably be another while.

Ive gotten really interested in semax lately... However that damn price is way over it.

Send pharmacy1010 this message:

Is there any possibility in bringing the price down for this product? Many people are interested in this, however most are hesistant due to the high price, if you lower the price you will have alot more customers for this product.

Regards,
Wesley

It probably wont change a thing, however ive read that they quickly stock a new product upon request, offcourse that doesnt mean they will lower prices, but meh, can atleast try.

And its true that sales will go up significantly with a more decent price, so financially wise it may not be too bad of a move.

Here's another Russian source for Noopept: http://en.24apoteket...age.asp?id=1724.

That looks like a sistersite of pharmacy1010, not sure tough, but on first glance same prising and same products.

Yeah, pretty much everything about that site is the same. But if it's actually in stock, maybe they have a different warehouse or something.

I ordered noopept from them and my transaction was to pharmacy1010.
