Vitamin C: 3 grams
Taurine: 1 gram
Glycine: 1 gram
Arginine: 1 gram
Lysine: 1 gram
Glutamine: 1 gram
Magnesium citrate: 2.5 grams

And b1 (100mg) and b6 (50mg)

30 minutes later had ass-pee. I'm guessing it's either the vitamin C or the magnesium citrate, although I thought you had to take a lot more C than that to get diarrhea, and the citrate was the stated dose for obtaining 400mg of elemental magnesium.

Going to eliminate bed-time taurine from now on incidentally, all it does is make me sleep longer and more dreamlessly, but feeling after waking is unchanged or slightly worse.

If it was the first time you took the mag citrate, that would be my guess. Even low doses gave me loose stool. Working up to a full dose slowly might give you better results. Or if you're prone to this, use a form like malate or glycinate, which seem less likely to have these effects.

Magnesium citrate: 2.5 grams

100% the cause of your ass-pee guaranteed.

BTW, Magnesium Citrate is often sold in pharmacies ...as a laxative.

I think I may have written it down incorrectly and it was 1.5 grams. Still too much I suppose. I'll have to take the dose in separate installments.

I use magnesium glycinate (400mg 2x/day) and the instructions say never to take it close to bedtime, so I take one tablet with breakfast and one with lunch. It still softens the stool a little bit, but it's not a problem. I believe it is in this study article that it mentions that to eliminate diarrhea from high dose magnesium you should take one gram of L-Arginine 3 times a day with meals (3 grams of the same with each meal caused constipation): http://george-eby-re...-depression.pdf. I see that you do take 1 gram of Arginine before bed, but it needs to be with a meal and 3 times per day. With 1.5 grams of Magnesium, you might have to use a little more Arginine than 1 gram per meal. Start with 1 gram per meal 3x/day, and then if necessary increase the dosage gradually until you no longer have a soft stool but are yet not constipated.
