I understand gingko biloba to increase blood flow to the brain and extremities. It's early days but so far it seems one of the most potent (if short-lasting) supps I've tried for my fatigue and brain-fog. The shortness of breath I usually experience seems to be gone when it is effecting me. Anyway I'm wondering if there are any other supplements claiming to influence the body or brain in a similar way.
What other supps get the blood flowing?

Hi, caruga:
I don't know what's causing your fatigue and brain fog, but some things you might want to research are L-arginine, which increases blood flow through its action on nitric oxide, and NAC, which supports cognition in other ways, by supplying your body with a precursor to glutathione synthesis.
You might also want to get your DHEA levels checked, in case you are low, and make sure your internal master clock is working correctly (do you have normal sleep/wake cycles?).
Ultimately, the best plan is to start by trying to find out what's wrong. Do you get sufficient exercise? Is your blood glucose stable? Do you have asthma? (You might not be getting enough oxygen if you have a hard time breathing.)
That's a start, anyway. Good luck!

You're 25 and ginko works for you? I heard it only worked on the elderly so i skipped it. Nice to see young people can feel it too. For cerebral blood flow i bought vinpocetine but it's not recommended and i ditched it, just gave me weird feeling like having a rock in the brain.

Pycnogenol seems to increase blood flow in the brain (cerebral perfusion).

Cardiologist Dr. Davis of the HeartScanBlog has been recommending l-arginine for blood flow in heard disease for years. However, now he considers it optional, since vitamin D normalization, a 25(OH)D of about 60-80 ng/ml, after one years showed similar results.
