What research chemical stimulants are worth looking into?

I'm looking for a stimulant for studying purposes but don't really know where to start.

Stimulant RC's for studying? If you want to stim try and get a script for ritalin or amp, otherwise MDPV, desoxy (wich was then dropped for ritalin) or AMT (wich was used as an antidepressant) but it seems pretty silly to order RC's just to study mate, just try to get some ritalin.

Eh, I've tried the doctor method without much luck. I'm not very good at acting like someone with ADHD apparently.

Before going the greymarket pharmacy route for ritalin I'd like to see if I could get something that's less illicit and expensive.

Have you tried modafinil, it works pretty well for this purpose. Just don't expect any euphoria and don't take more than you need, it just keeps you awake longer, not more awake.

Why not start with some of the other nootropics we discuss here? Medievil is right, it's pretty silly to dive into research chems just for "studying purposes." They're serious drugs, and probably not the kinds of things you can take casually without consequences.

Be aware that AMT is schedule 1 in the states, which is not entirely unjustified seeing as it's a common substance of abuse over here in the UK.

True, altough pretty much all RC's are illegal in the US due to the analogue act, desoxy too as its related to ritalin if i'm correct. Didnt know the OP lives in the US, importing illegal substances in a country like the US, and taking unresearched chemicals just for the purpose of studying, makes it all a pretty bad idea. ;) .

But if your into the US, just go to some random doc and get "tested" for ADHD (which in the US is just a paper with some questions, apperantly they dont need much there for a diagnosis) and then get amphetamine if you insist on getting a stimulant. Sounds like a way better idea.

Or as chrono said, try some nootropics.

If you want an effective stimulant that is available over the counter you might want to look into nicotine patches. Whether this is healthy or not is another matter but it's probably healthier than most research chemicals or risking run-ins with the law because of illegal substances.

I agree -- nicotine is a pretty awesome stimulant.

Primer?

Basically, they all suck.

You can't get most of them anymore, "meph"edrone (4-mmc) stocks are being depleted and China has banned further production. It was nasty shit anyways. It may be considered a methcathinone analog in the USA.

MDPV is in the same situation. It is totally legal in the US, not an analog of a Sch I or II drug, so you may expect to see future production and sales in the USA. There are various US based vendors that you can find on Google.

MDPV is strong, somewhat addictive if you aren't careful, and not something you would want to take on a regular basis. The only decent way to take it is oral doses. Insufflation is incredibly gross, the effects are not as consistent or as pleasant as with oral dose, and obviously IV is dangerous. Re-dosing is also generally very unpleasant. Leave that for meth freaks.

Considering that people on this board seem comfortable with small doses of amphetamine (adderal) and methylphenidate, with behavior that does not seem addictive, MDPV should fall into that drug class. But since it is much more easily available, you must practice extra discipline.

Tiny doses of 2C drugs may be interesting. I'm not sure why you wouldn't just go for Deprenyl and/or Piracetam if you wanted basic effects, though.

What effects are you looking for?

Get on a PaNu diet and clear up your inflammation, your interstitial water retention from carbohyrdate, your high insulin levels, etc... before you worry about stimulating your mind. www.paleonu.com
