Hey everybody how's it going? I just thought I would make a team Memo for this month.

I would like to know who's still on the team and is contributing. If you are still on the team and still contributing please tell me on this topic.

We are going to implement a 3 month inactive purging system which means if you are inactive for three months you are taken off the team member list.

Imminst is going to implement a point system where you can earn points for contributing. (I will post more info on that in the near future).

In the point system, we still have not decided what number of points we should give out for the different types of contributions.

In the mean time this topic has been created: http://www.imminst.o...r-report-topic/
This topic is to report all the contributions you made to a team for a particular month. The Team coordinator will then go over it and award people points for what they have done.

I would like to know something about the Facebook team (which I am part of).
Are we still supposed to post items from the newsletter?
Anyway, I frequently post things from the forum on my Facebook account.

I noticed that posting on the ImmInst fan page is disabled. Or maybe I am missing something?...

I've just been notified that the Facebook fan page has been transfered to the editor team. Imminst has put the facebook page on hold for the time being. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi, with regards to the facebook page, I have also been posting from time to time. With regards to what is currently the last entry:
"Immortality Institute - ImmInst.org We are extremely grateful to those who looked after this community page. Recently messages were posted here that were not authorized by ImmInst and could be detrimental to our common cause. Until we are able to clarify this matter, it is necessary to restrict the circle of persons posting here. Sorry to those who are caught up in this, we'll make sure that this page remains as inclusive as possible. --Caliban"

Which posts have caused an issue? Could you elaborate, please. I had to not know if I've posted something that someone didn't like. Or was it the JAMA posting that did it in?

The only objectionable post I remember from Facebook was from months ago:

Immortality Institute - ImmInst.org http://dl.dropbox.co...lier_reddit.jpg
http://dl.dropbox.co...lier_reddit.jpg
dl.dropbox.com

I suppose posts like this may also be the issue:

Immortality Institute - ImmInst.org What do you believe is more profitable for BigPharma: Selling immortality, or selling antibiotics, vaccines and health insurance for 100 years?

Since it comes off as a bit conspiracy theorist (though that may not be the intention).

You'll have to ask the management for real specifics though!

I hope things get clarified soon so posting can resume, I think Facebook can be a powerful tool. However, I suggest a 2 step process, since Facebook is a public face of the organization: run the post through editing before posting it. That can check for clarity, grammar, etc. Ie. the editor team really should be involved.
