I just wanted to point out, Bill Maher was on Leno, and when asked if he thought a Mosque should be built at Ground Zero, he said, no, I don't think so, and the crowd clapped, and he responded "you know why? Because I don't think any religious place should be built anywhere in the U.S." Some people in the crowd actually clapped, it was great. He explained all the terrible things he doesn't like about religion, all of which we've talked about here. But it was one of his most blatant criticisms of religion, on the show tonight, that I have ever seen, although I don't get HBO, so I have no idea how controversial he gets.

He went on to bash the usual targets, namely the Tea Party, to which he called the pee party, because they pee in their pants whenever something stupid and little happens like the mosque, and Obama is some kind of a crazy Muslim, and how they don't want their precious guns taken away and so on.

So Maher is one of my favorite people, and I tend to agree with him on most everything, but it's reassuring that even on a mainstream show like Leno, the most radical of people, can still win an audiences approval, but then again if you're funny people will clap for you even with views like Mahers.

Ugh, Maher. I hate his liberal Jew face. Liberal Jews really get under my skin and this guy is an obvious cretin.

What the F**k are you going on about? You should be banned for saying crap like that...who are you to judge what a "liberal Jew" is? And why the blatant racism?

Maher is agnostic, and does not align himself in any way that I know of with Judeism, and if he did, obviously so what?

Judaism is a religion.

It's just a personal gripe of mine, and by 'hate' I really mean that I am made extremely annoyed by the particular views they express but on a fundamental level still have an affinity and love for the individual.
